Did Troy Baker Confirm the Death Stranding Release Window?

It's been a few years since Hideo Kojima left Konami and announced Death Stranding but we still don't know when the game is coming out (or what it's about). All we know is that it's filled with celebrities like Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Guillermo del Toro, and voice acting superstar Troy Baker, among others.

Kojima did give us a slight tease about the PS4 exclusive game possibly coming out in 2019 and now Troy Baker has too. And it all has to do with that 10-year challenge on social media.

No really.

Baker went on Twitter to partake in the 10-year challenge, the current internet game that has people showing photos of what they looked like 10 years ago and how they appear now. In an interesting twist, Baker did not use his own pictures but used one character he voiced 10 years ago and one he will be voicing this year. The character 10 years ago was Snow from Final Fantasy XIII, while the one in 2019 is Man in the Golden Mask from Death Stranding.

To be fair, Baker did put a question mark in the post, seemingly making fans think that he does not know when this game out. However, the more skeptical of us feel like he is giving fans some sort of hint with this, which is interesting.

Also, wow. Final Fantasy XIII came out 10 years ago.

Death Stranding may or may not be coming out this year. Making games is very hard so we'd rather they release this title when it's good and ready.
