The latest episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 was truly an exciting one and it looks like next week's episode will now slow down with the action sequences. The official title and key art for Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 6 have finally been revealed.
Demon Slayer's official Twitter account has shared the key art for next week's episode. The image shows Genya Shinazugawa looking like a demon. It's an even clearer look at his transformation that was previewed in the latest episode of the third season.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 6 also has an interesting title that is clearly connected to Genya. Aren't You Going To Become a Hashira? is a reference to the manga's Chapter 115 which is titled To Be A Hashira which reveals Genya and his older brother Sanemi Shinazugawa's tragic backstory.
There is little doubt that Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 6 is going to be action-packed like its predecessors and it will also reveal more about Genya and Sanemi. However, the most important thing to look forward to in the episode is the explanation of Genya's strange demonic abilities.
Genya barely appeared in Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 5 but his brief appearance was a total shocker for those who haven't read the manga. After Tanjiro uses the latest Hinokami Kagura form to decapitate three of Hantengu's clones, he discovers that Genya had successfully beheaded the fourth one. However, he also realizes that Genya has transformed and appears to have turned into a demon.
So what happened to Genya? The truth will be revealed when Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 6 premieres next week.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Episode 5 is titled Bright Red Sword and adapts the manga's Chapters 110 to 114. The next episode is titled Aren't You Going To Be A Hashira? ("Hashira ni Narun ja Nai no ka!") and will air on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
