Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3 Teases Genya's Terrifying Abilities

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Episode 3 certainly kicked things up for the Swordsmith Village arc as two Upper Rank demons infiltrated the village. In addition to that, the latest episode of the popular anime has just teased Genya Shinazugawa's terrifying abilities that will prove to be very useful in the upcoming battle.

In Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3, Tanjiro Kamado and Kotetsu found an ancient sword inside the broken Yoriichi Type Zero battle doll. When they discover that the sword has been rusted over, Hotaru Haganezuka quickly jumps in and volunteers to fix it for Tanjiro.

Later, Tanjiro talks about the progress of his sword with Genya who is disinterested in the discussion. But when he orders Tanjiro to leave, Tanjiro realizes that Genya's tooth has grown back since their last interaction. He even shows Genya that he had kept the tooth in hopes to return it to the other Demon Slayer. Disgusted, Genya kicks him out of the room.

The interaction is later forgotten but it establishes the fact that Genya is able to regenerate lost body parts at an accelerated rate. We won't spoil how he is able to do this but it's certainly an interesting ability that will be revealed in the anime soon.

Genya's regenerative ability was also teased when he went up against Hantengu's clones and was attacked by Aizetsu, who impaled the Demon Slayer. Although Tanjiro was worried that it meant Genya had been killed, he will be in for a huge surprise in the next episode. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
