It has been a long time coming, but Demon Rush episode 2 finally got a new trailer and a release date.
This indie anime’s long-awaited second episode got a new trailer yesterday which was released by MaSTAR Media. The trailer showed off new scenes from the episode featuring Japanese narration.
Demon Rush is an anime that many seasonal viewers may not be familiar with. After all, it’s a small indie production. Interestingly, it’s not just an anime as it is made up of three different works.
All You Need to Know about the Demon Rush Anime
Created by Jake Mastar (aka MaSTAR Media), Demon Rush is a dark fantasy franchise consisting of a manga, a trading card game, and an anime.
The manga continues to get new chapters sporadically, while the trading card game has built up a sizeable following. As for the anime, its first episode was released back in March 2022.
Its first episode got attention as it featured popular Japanese voice actors, including Daisuke Ono (Jotaro in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) and Naoki Bando (Mycroft Holmes in Undead Girl Murder Farce).
Because it’s an independent production, it has taken nearly two years for the next episode to get a major update.

Demon Rush Episode 2 Finally Gets a Trailer after Nearly Two Years
MaSTAR Media finally shared a new trailer for Demon Rush’s second episode. The trailer showed off new action-packed clips from the upcoming episode along with a Japanese voiceover explaining the events.
Episode 2’s trailer did not feature the Japanese voice actors, but the cast from episode 1 will likely return.
That’s because Daisuke Ono was mentioned to be part of the cast after the main trailer was shown in the video.
There’s also no word on how long it will be. It may be another 7-minute-long episode given that it’s an indie production.
Demon Rush Anime Episode 2 Release Date Revealed
The trailer did not highlight the release date, though MaSTAR Media shared earlier this month that the episode is 95% complete.
Shortly after releasing the trailer yesterday, MaSTAR revealed that the new episode will be released on YouTube this Friday, February 24, 2024.
As with the first episode, the second will be available on the MaSTAR YouTube channel for free.
For now, there’s no word on a specific release time, so those looking forward to the new episode should check the channel throughout Friday.
