Death Stranding Possibly Confirmed for 2019

Hideo Kojima is a gaming industry giant, and everyone can't wait for the release of his next game, Death Stranding. For months we've been getting teases of development, but no official release date. What's interesting is, we may have had the game confirmed for this year.

Death Stranding was first revealed at E3 2016, and a lot of people had believed that it would be coming out within the year of the announcement. It's been almost two years since then, and Kojima has yet to give us a solid release date. For now, the Best Buy tease is the best that we have.

Even after all these teasers, the entire plot and gameplay of Death Stranding still manage to baffle a lot of audiences. We know that we take control of the character of Norman Reedus' Sam, and by the looks of the gameplay, it seems that he's some kind of delivery man in some post-apocalyptic world.

Besides the involvement of Reedus, we also have the likes of Mads Mikkelsen, Lea Seydoux, Lindsay Wagner, and Troy Baker in the game. The game even has a character modeled from director Guillermo del Toro.

It's been a long wait for Death Stranding, but a lot of fans are very eager to see what kind of game Kojima has come up with. He's been one of the most famous innovators in the industry, and we can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve with this PS4 exclusive.

No official release date has been announced for Death Stranding.
