Deadpool 3 Brings Back Fan-Favorite Character from the Sequel

A lot of MCU fans have been looking forward to Deadpool 3 not only because it will feature the return of Ryan Reynolds as the titular hero and finally become part of the MCU, but it will also mark the return of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine as the two will have their long-awaited team-up.

For the past several weeks, we've also been hearing several updates about the film as it is set to begin production soon including the casting of the new characters and the return of fan-favorite characters from the first two films.

Now, it looks like another beloved character from the previous films is set to return as Deadline confirmed that Rob Delaney, who played X-Force member Peter in the second film, is set to reprise the role in Deadpool 3.

In case you forgot, Peter was one of the X-Force members who was quickly killed off. However, he was resurrected during the mid-credits scene when Deadpool used Cable's time-traveling device to save him and Vanessa from their respective deaths.

Delaney is joining other cast members who are set to return in the third film such as Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, and Stefan Kapici. Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen are also confirmed to join the cast playing new characters.

There are also rumors that Owen Wilson is set to reprise his MCU role of TVA agent Mobius in the film alongside Tara Strong's Miss Minutes. However, this hasn't been confirmed yet by Marvel Studios.

It is exciting to see that Delaney's Peter is returning in the third film since he became a fan-favorite character in the sequel despite being an X-Force member who has no powers and is just an average Joe.

This is yet again another sign that the two films that were made by Fox are still going to be a big part of Deadpool's jump into the MCU and it is exciting to see how it will all play into the story.
