Deadpool 2's Lewis Tan Thinks Shatterstar Will Return for X-Force Movie

Deadpool 2 pulled a major trick on fans during the initial trailers, making us think that we would actually see a version of X-Force in the movie. Even with legitimate members like Shatterstar in it, that didn't stop the movie from killing most of them sans Domino and the Merc with a Mouth. Because of the ending, many assume that these X-Force members are no longer dead.

Shatterstar actor Lewis Tan seems to be pretty confident about this since he told SyFy Wire that there is a good chance we'll be seeing him in Drew Goddard's X-Force movie. While he didn't say that his revival was 100% confirmed, it looks like Tan is confident that he will make it in somehow.

"You're going to see more of my character in the X-Force film ... that's what it's looking like. Thankfully, Deadpool went back and had a little time machine that he stole, so in the post-credits scene he brought back Peter, and it's assumed that we're all going to come back as well."

This might be called into question since Deadpool specifically turns back time to save Peter and no one else. Then again, the fact that he saves Vanessa means that the entire film's existence might as well be gone. We will have to wait and see for more concrete details on this fact so Tan's presence isn't confirmed yet.

Prior to this, Tan revealed that he had talks with DC about a possible role, hinting that he could be Dick Grayson in a future Nightwing movie. That movie, along with X-Force, have no proper release date.
