A huge change in schedule has been dropped as none other than Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took it to Instagram to announce the news that two of his upcoming DC films this year, Black Adam and League of Super Pets, gets pushed back for a few months and he also informed everyone the new release dates of the movies.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson graced Instagram with the news that his upcoming DC movies will be pushed back to later dates and he wanted everyone to hear directly from him first. From the original release date of May 20, DC’s League of Super Pets has been rescheduled to release on July 29, 2022, the original schedule of Black Adam and with the domino effect comes the new release date of the latter to October 21.
The Rock dropped the announcement with a sunny Hawai’i background as he hypes up the arrival of his two films, “The hierarchy of power in the DC is about to change…” He also expressed his excitement for the fans and families that are waiting for the films to come out “Can’t wait for you and your families around the world to see our movies!!!”
DC’s League of Super Pets follow the canine best friend of Superman, Krypto the Super-Dog, after he got captured by Lex Luthor and builds a team along with other shelter-pets with superpowers such as Ace, a hound with super-strength, PB, a pig who grows to giant size, Merton, a turtle with super speed, and Chip, a squirrel with electric powers. The Rock voices Krypto and he would be joined by Kevin hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Keanu Reeves, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Ben Schwartz, and Tomas Middleditch.
On the other hand, Black Adam, played by The Rock, will introduce the classic DC Villain who has powers that could level with Superman and is considered as Shazam’s nemesis. He would be arriving into the DCEU along with the Justice Society of America with Pierce Brosnan’s Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone.
DC’s League of Super Pets will be out in theaters on July 29 and Black Adam will be released on October 21, 2022.
