Though the live-action DCEU films may have been having a hard time getting off the ground, the animated movies have been pumping out film after film. After Superman: Red Son, we now have a trailer for the upcoming Justice League Dar: Apokolips War.
We don't have a full synopsis for the film yet, but the description boasts ‘the largest Super Hero cast in the history of DC Universe Movies'. The film is also set to focus on the trio of Constantine, Superman, and Raven, described as the ‘triumvirate determined to assemble the forces necessary to lead humanity's final attack.'
Just by watching the trailer, you'll know that the movie is going to feature a lot of big heroes, and WB isn't holding back on the voice actors too. Some big names included in the cast are Rosario Dawson (Wonder Woman), Jason O'Mara (Batman), Rebecca Romijin (Lois Lane), and even The Office's Rainn Wilson (Lex Luthor).
These DC animated films have always been a hit and miss for me, but I always enjoy a nice team-up film with all the heroes. With the live-action movies said to be pushing the focus on solo adventures, it's great to see the heroes team up and fight odds in one way or another.
No specific release date has been set for Justice League Dark: Apokolips ar, but the movie is set to release sometime this spring.
