In the first episode of Daily Dose of Sunshine, we learn that Nurse Da-Eun is actually acquainted with Dr. Hwang Yeo-Hwan (played by Chang Ryul). While walking, Da-Eun gets pulled to the staircase by Dr. Hwang, who asks her if she is stalking him.

Da-Eun sneers at the thought of stalking Dr. Hwang, but continues to talk to him about her observations with her first patient. She also tells him that she doesn't feel the need to tell him about her transfer.

Later in that episode, we discover Da-Eun and Dr. Hwang having coffee at a cafe. They talk about the patient in more detail. He also talks to Da-Eun casually and explains that he cannot leave her alone since they "were not strangers."

After explaining what bipolar disorder meant, Dr. Hwang asks Da-Eun once again why she decided to join psychiatry. He directly asks her if she likes him, an idea that Da-Eun quickly shoots down.

She tells him that "the head nurse at internal medicine said I'd be a better fit in psychiatry."

He asks her why she quickly took the advice of the head nurse since she never listens to him. Da-Eun responds that he doesn't respect her and he always talks down to her.

Finally, Dr. Hwang asks her to "keep our past a secret at work" since he doesn't want people to know that he used to tutor her and Jang Dong-Yoon (played by Song Yoo-Chan).

A few minutes later, Dong-Yoon arrives. When Dr. Hwang discovers that it's him, he hurries off in the other direction. This is explained by Da-Eun, who said that Dong-Yoon used to chase Dr. Hwang around in college because he never got him into med school like he promised.

We're curious to know what else is there between Da-Eun's relationship with Dr. Hwang. We'll update this post once more information becomes available.

It's uncommon for a third-year nurse to just leave a department and move to a different one. And because of this, Da-Eun's colleagues can't help but wonder and gossip about it.

So why did she?

While she doesn't directly answer her colleagues, she tells Dr. Hwang about the advice that her former head nurse gave her. She took the advice to heart and made the switch.

In the second episode, Da-Eun overhears the conversation between her former head nurse and her current head nurse, Song Hyo-Shin (played by Lee Jung-Eun).

Da-Eun learns that her colleagues in internal medicine disliked working with her as she always took extra time with her patients. As a result of this, the other nurses ended up having to work more.

This concern was brought up to the head nurse, who gossips about this with Hyo-Shin. Instead of letting it bother her, however, Hyo-Shin shuts down her colleague and tells her that the psych patients are taking a liking to her.

In the end, the IM head nurse says that Da-Eun "is not cut out to be a nurse."

After overhearing this, Da-Eun can't help but feel paranoid about her new colleagues so she keeps her distance from them and focuses on her job.

We'll share more information on this once it becomes available. In the meantime, you can check out this trailer for more information:
