Crunchyroll is one of the most popular streaming platforms for anime, and it is also a big player in other parts of the industry. To complement its online presence, Crunchyroll announced a partnership with Walmart to bring anime merchandise to stores in the US.
With this new collab, Crunchyroll will bring a Fan Shop to thousands of Walmart stores in the US. These shops will feature a selection of anime Blu-rays along with collectible goodies.
Shortly after the announcement, fans across the US already spotted these Fan Shops in their local Walmart stores.
Anime Fans Spot Crunchyroll Section in Walmart Stores
Walmart has long carried anime goods. Their selection may not be as comprehensive as dedicated anime shops, but they’re surprisingly well-stocked when it comes to popular shonen titles like Dragon Ball and One Piece.
Recently, some anime fans in the US noticed that their local Walmart’s anime section has been given a revamp.
Aside from featuring new merch selections, these parts of the stores now carry Crunchyroll branding.
This is part of Crunchyroll’s Fan Shop rollout in Walmart stores, which was announced on November 6.
These Crunchyroll Fan Shops will be launched in over 2,400 stores throughout the US.
Crunchyroll confirmed that these shops will carry physical subscription cards, as well as Blu-ray discs of popular anime and various collectibles.

Crunchyroll Reveals Walmart Fan Shop Lineup
As part of the collaboration, the Fan Shops will feature Walmart-exclusive Blu-rays of popular shonen anime. These include:
- Dragon Ball Z - Seasons 1-3 on Blu-ray
- Dragon Ball Z - Seasons 4-6 on Blu-ray
- Dragon Ball Z - Seasons 7-9 on Blu-ray
- Dragon Ball Super - Parts 1-2 on Blu-ray
- Dragon Ball Super - Parts 3-4 on Blu-ray
- Dragon Ball Super - Parts 5-6 on Blu-ray
- Dragon Ball Super - Parts 7-8 on Blu-ray
- Dragon Ball Super - Parts 9-10 on Blu-ray
- My Hero Academia - Seasons 1-2 on Blu-ray
- My Hero Academia - Seasons 3-4 on Blu-ray
As for merch, fans can expect to see Demon Slayer statues, Naruto figures, Jujutsu Kaisen collectibles, and more display pieces.
The shops will also carry a range of manga volumes in paperback form, including titles like Attack on Titan, Fire Force, Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, and Blue Lock.
These Crunchyroll Fan Shops have begun rolling out now, so your local Walmart might already have one, or at least get one soon.
Take note that not all Walmart stores will get these anime shops as there are over 4,000 stores in the country.
