About to premiere in just about a day, Cruella receives a Rotten Tomatoes score and it is off to a great start as it is a high score. The critics found the film amazing and the numbers don't lie. With this, it just makes it more exciting to see the prequel about the stylishly villainous Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians.

Cruella received a whopping 73% score in Rotten Tomatoes and various critics are left in awe as to how it is acted, styled, and crafted. Stressing that it is a villain's backstory, it is indeed a success showing the roots of Cruella.

Following the story of Estella set in 1970's London, a young grifter who perseveres and determines to be a staple name in the fashion industry in the middle of the punk rock revolution, she makes herself known by walking through a social event and making sure she would be noticed with the amazing couture she was wearing that fashion legend Baroness von Hellman (Emma Thompson) could not ignore.

Aside from the film being extremely fashionable thanks to two-time Oscar-winning costume designer Jenny Beavan, the film also has an amazing soundtrack, one it even featured in a trailer with "Call Me Cruella" by award-winning artist Florence + The Machine.

Cruella stars Emma Stone as the titular character and she will be joined by Emma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Joel Fry, Mark Strong, and Emily Beecham. It will be directed by I Tonya's Craig Gillespie, screenplay by Dana Fox and Tony McNamara, and story by Aline Brosh McKenna and Kelly Marcel & Steve Zissis.

Cruella premieres in theaters on May 28, 2021, and it will have the same-day release on Disney+ Premier Access for an additional $30 on top of the monthly subscription price.
