Chris Evans Talks His Favorite Captain America Outfit

Chris Evans is going to exit the Captain America role with Avengers 4, and a lot of people have been asking him about his mindset after playing the character for almost a decade. During an appearance at ACE Comic-Con, Evans revealed which of the suits was actually his favorite.

According to The Marvel Report:

There aren't any specifics on why that suit ended up being Evans' favorite, but I imagine it's because it has fewer pieces to put together and it was probably the comfiest to walk around in. Looking at the other suits, there are either a lot of intricate straps or padding that could be hard to move in.

That's just my assessment anyway.

Personally, my favorite outfit is the makeshift one he puts together when he decides to raid a HYDRA camp for the first time. I was always a fan of the more realistic uniform from the Ultimates comic, and the suit in that film was probably the closest we were going to get of it.

As for everyone's least favorite suit, I think a lot of fans admitted that the suit from the first Avengers was kind of a downgrade from Cap's First Avenger outfit.

A lot of fans are sad to see Evans leave the Captain America role, but it does seem like the best decision moving forward. After all, there are already some characters in line to replace the mantle, and we don't want to see Evans get typecast after all this time.

Personally, I just miss his raunchier roles from Scott Pilgrim, The Losers, and even the Fantastic Four films.

Catch Evans as Captain America one last time in Avengers 4 which comes out May 3, 2019.
