Check Out Zac Efron As Fox’s New Wolverine

Fox might not be considering replacing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine just yet, but with Disney's acquisition of the studio's film and television assets, fans are eagerly looking forward to the possibility of seeing a new James Hawlett in the Mickey Mouse House's Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While fans have been busy discussing what it might be like if Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe were to take on the role, others have been throwing High School Musical's Zac Efron into the ring, considering the Ted Bundy star as a potential candidate for a new Wolverine.

Now, after drawing his imagining of Radcliffe as Wolvie, popular artist BossLogic gives fans a look at what Efron might look like as Marvel's new Wolverine. Taking to Twitter, BossLogic posts a picture of Efron as Logan, adding in a message wishing the actor a fast recovery from his ACL injury.

Fox hasn't named any potential Wolverine candidates just yet, but fans have been throwing names around left and right.

Sure, Hugh Jackman's Wolverine might have been the definitive version of the character, the actor resigned from the role after performing his swan song in Logan. Since then, the actor's refused to return to his claws, turning down Deadpool actor Ryan Reynold's invitation for a Deadpool and Wolvie team-up movie time and time again.

Of course, Wolverine won't be kept down for too long. The regenerating, adamantium-clawed mutant's too popular to keep in the dirt.

Fox's next X-Men movie, X-Men: Dark Phoenix premieres June 7, 2019.
