Check Out Some of Pokemon Sword & Shield's New Pokemon, Including the New Legendaries

As expected, the most recent Nintendo Direct for Pokemon Sword & Shield did what a lot of people have been asking for; introduce new Pokemon. The game does have some returning Pokemon from previous regions, including Pikachu and Charizard from the Kanto region, but we're here for the newbies and the video introduced seven cool-looking ones, two of which are the box art legendaries.

Let's get to the new legendary Pokemon first; Zacian and Zamazenta. Zacian is the legendary for Pokemon Sword and is a cool-looking wolf carrying a sword. This Pokemon has also been compared to one of the bosses from Dark Souls and that's a pretty apt comparison to be fair. Zamazenta is the legendary for Pokemon Shield and looks just as awesome, if not fair.

Now for the Pokemon that can be caught in the wild. Wooloo is the new resident cutie from the video and has captured everyone's heart, despite being a normal-type Sheep Pokemon.

Then there's Gossifleur, who is a plant-type Pokemon and will be found very early on since the gym leader uses its evolved form, Eldegoss, for battle.

Drednaw is a fierce-looking turtle Pokemon and should impress people who like the "cool" looking monsters. There's no doubt that this Pokemon looks awesome and should be a big asset in battles.

Corviknight is the last Pokemon to talk about and is a Flying/Steel-type, which makes it an ideal monster to take on ice-types. It also looks amazing.
