Check Out Bizarre and Creepy New Trailer for Jordan Peele's Us

Jordan Peele wowed audiences with his work on directorial debut Get Out, and this year will see the release of his latest horror project, Us. A new trailer has been released for the movie courtesy of the SuperBowl, and it's just as terrifying and bizarre as you would expect it to be.

Here's the synopsis:

Accompanied by her husband, son and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen to her family. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, each stranger takes the appearance of a different family member.

While Get Out had an underlying message about racism and black history, Jordan Peele promises that the story of Us isn't about race at all. He tells the Hollywood Reporter, "This movie, unlike Get Out, is not about race. It is instead about something I feel has become an undeniable truth. That is the simple fact that we are our own worst enemies."

Peele has proven to be quite busy ever since he took the director's chair. Besides the release of this film, he's also set to premiere his reboot of The Twilight Zone in which he is the new host as well. While I do miss his work on comedy, I'm excited to see what kind of stories Peele has to tell in the future.

Catch Us in theaters March 15.
