Here's What Happened Before Chainsaw Man Chapter 125

In Chapter 124 of Chainsaw Man, Yoru tries to defend Asa Mitaka in an unorthodox way.

Realizing that Asa is losing her grip on reality, Yoru attacks the Falling Devil with a knife made out of one of Asa's nails.

She advises Asa to focus only on the pain she feels to avoid the devil's influence, but Asa is having none of it.

She mistrusts Yoru who has just cut her hand and feels sorry for herself.

Asa reminisces on the few times she tried to get close to others. However, each time she tried to make a friend, she lost them due to unfortunate circumstances.

Devasted, Asa starts thinking about her fear of both intimacy and loneliness.

Meanwhile, the Falling Devil announces the next "course" of her planned feast, which she calls "Asa Root Yoru," a fusion of human and devil, namely a hybrid.
