Anime fans now have no reason to miss out on some of last year’s biggest hits as Crunchyroll added Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, and more titles for free. But there is a catch of course.
Viewers can finally watch lots of titles on Crunchyroll for free, though to watch them without a subscription, viewers must watch them via Crunchyroll’s ad-supported service.
Crunchyroll Strengthens Its Ad-Supported Lineup
Lots of seasonal anime titles are streamed on Crunchyroll in the US and many other countries, but they’re only available through the platform’s premium subscription service which is priced starting at USD 7.99.
There is a free service though that features advertisements. However, this tier’s lineup is limited, not to mention that the latest seasonal titles aren’t updated there regularly.
Still, even before today, the ad-supported lineup already features a lot of popular titles such as Cowboy Bebop, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, and Tokyo Ghoul, among others.
Now, 19 new shows have been added to the ad-supported lineup, complete with some episodes of the English dub for some titles.
