Chainsaw Man and Bocchi the Rock! just got an unexpected mashup that combines several songs from both shows into one awesome performance.
This mashup is made by YouTube cover band MEET ME SATURDAY, and it features a selection of songs from Chainsaw Man and Bocchi, including several ending themes along with their respective openings.
While these two shows couldn’t be farther from each other when it comes to story, they have become intertwined given how they dominated the Fall 22 season.
Chainsaw Man and Bocchi the Rock!: Unlikely Fall Rivals
Ahead of Fall 22, Chainsaw Man was easily the most highly anticipated series, and it did not disappoint (at least for most fans). The series got a lot of praise and was talked about a lot while it aired.
Meanwhile, Bocchi the Rock! didn’t have much attention in the beginning, but by the middle of its run, it has quickly become a huge hit, enough that some consider it the best show of the season.
Given that the two shows were the top hits of Fall 22, their respective fanbases have gotten into a friendly rivalry. Though this also resulted in hilarious fanart and mashups.
Despite being among the biggest shows of 2022, it’s surprising that neither Chainsaw Man nor Bocchi has gotten Season 2 announcements yet.
After all, the likes of Spy x Family quickly got renewed for a second season.
The two shows will likely get renewed for a new season though. After all, Chainsaw Man continues to be hugely popular, not to mention that Bocchi has swept various 2022 year-end anime awards.

Chainsaw Man and Bocchi Get a Cool Mashup
The latest mashup between the two shows is by the band MEET ME SATURDAY as they performed a selection of songs from both titles.
While it’s called a mashup, it might be more accurate to call it a medley as the band essentially performed songs from both shows back-to-back.
It might not be a mashup where CSM and Bocchi songs are played together, but it’s still very much worth watching for fans of both titles. Check it out here:
Despite the two soundtracks being in completely different genres, the band was able to play them seamlessly, which is an impressive feat.
When the two shows finally get their long-awaited second seasons, here’s hoping that we get another cool mashup like this one.
