Chadwick Boseman Plays Coy About Black Panther’s Return In Avengers 4

Marvel fans who've seen Avengers: Infinity War know that in the end Thanos actually does manage to collect all six Infinity Stones, wiping out half of the universe with the gems collective power. A number of Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy turn into dust at the end of the film, including the King of Wakanda, T'Challa.

Though fans find it hard to believe that Infinity War spelled the permanent end for Chadwick Boseman's extremely likable Black Panther considering the fact that Marvel has a Black Panther sequel lined up in the MCU, the cast and crew have been talking about the possibility of having T'Challa replaced by someone else.

Boseman himself has been trying to stay coy about the whole debacle, telling MTV that he hasn't been told about anything during this year's MTV Movie and TV Awards.

"Is there an Avengers 4?" the actor joked. "Is there one? They haven't told me anything!"

Black Panther has been on a roll at the annual awards ceremony. Not only did the film win the Best Movie award, but Boseman also nabbed the prize for Best Hero, while his co-star, Michael B. Jordan, won Best Villain.

Starring in both Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, Boseman has certainly had a pretty wild year, and we're hoping that the Marvel star returns to the Throne either in Avengers 4 or in Black Panther 2.

Avengers: Infinity War is currently screening in cinemas.
