Who is the Creature in Lisa Frankenstein?
In Lisa Frankenstein, the role of the Creature is played by Cole Sprouse. He brings to life a corpse with missing body parts.
But this is soon fixed by Lisa as she sews on the body parts they've collected. They take out the body parts from the people that the two have killed together.
Once the missing body part has been sewn on, the Creature gains function over it.
One of their victims is a boy that Lisa had a crush on. They cut off his penis and sewed it on the Creature. After that, they were already able to do the deed.
Can Creature Talk in Lisa Frankenstein?
Unfortunately, he's unable to speak so he uses grunts to relay his message to Lisa (played by Kathryn Newton).
It's no wonder why people are thinking Lisa Frankenstein is a spinoff of Edward Scissorhands, which had the same speech defect.
It's also worth mentioning that Edward Scissorhands is not a human corpse. Instead, he is an artificial human that was not completed by its maker. The character, played by Johnny Depp, also had gardening shears instead of human arms.
So as far as their similarities go, the Creature and Edward Scissorhands share the same speech ability: grunting.

How Does the Creature Become Human in the Ending?
Throughout the film, Lisa finds her way to a pink tanning bed hidden in a garage. She uses this to make the Creature look more human. With every use of the tanning bed, however, the Creature starts to appear more alive than before.
Realizing this, Lisa starts to gain more confidence that her science experiment is working. But before he could become 100% human, Lisa used the tanning bed on herself.
She burns herself alive and is presumed dead by her family. They bury her and soon, the Creature digs her up and repeats the transformation process on her too.
When the Creature digs up Lisa's corpse, he can already speak. This signaled the end of his transformation and he was now fully human.
