Bridgerton garnered one of the biggest buzzes when it was released on Netflix in December 2020. The 10-episode series was too good that the only thought you have after is "more." Now, Netflix has delivered a brand new season and one thing is for sure, there will be a lot of drama.
The premise of the show is based on a series of popular period romance novels by Julia Quinn. The books follow the aristocratic Bridgerton family in Regency-era London. The unique story and setting of the show immediately made it a massive hit. The series was created by Chris Van Dusen and is produced by award-winning producer Shonda Rhimes.
The first season, which was based on the first book of the series, tells the story of Daphne Bridgerton. Bridgerton Season 2 will be based on the second book, titled The Viscount Who Loved Me.
This time around, the focus of the show is on the eldest of the Bridgertons. Anthony Bridgerton, who was in an on-and-off relationship with an opera singer, promised to himself and to his sister Daphne that he is to marry not out of love but out of duty.
Bridgerton Season 2 will follow Anthony's journey in finding love, the ups and downs, and how he will circumnavigate the challenges he will face doing this.

Bridgerton Season 2: Who Is Anthony's Love Interest And First Look
Netflix's official Twitter just uploaded the newest photos from Bridgerton Season 2, and it is giving us life. In the photos shared, we got the first look at Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), who is the love interest of Anthony Bridgeton.
In the photos, fans can see Anthony and Kate meeting for the first time. The Sharma family is also highlighted in the newest set of photos shared. There is also a photo showing Kate with her sister Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) and their mother Mary Shamra (Shelley Conn), they are joined by Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) as they arrive at what looks like a ball.
Not a lot of information was given on who the Sharma family is and what their status is in the world of the Bridgerton series. However, one thing is for certain: we are all excited to see how Anthony and Kate's relationship will go down in Bridgerton Season 2
BridgertonSeason 2: What's Going To Happen To Daphne And Simon?
As the Bridgerton Season 2 trailer keeps everyone on their toes, fans are wondering what happens now to Daphne and Simon -- the couple who everyone went crazy for during the first season? By the way, all of us are still swooning over Simon.
Unfortunately, the actor who plays Simon Basset (Rege-Jean Page) will not be reprising his role in Bridgerton Season 2, which means that Daphne and Simon's life story after they got married and welcomed their first child will have to move out of the spotlight. But, this does not mean that season 1 will be the last time we will see Daphne, according to reports her arc is not close to over yet.
We are excited to see what Daphne will be up to in Bridgerton Season 2. Will she help her brother Anthony and Kate Sharma? Or will she be too busy taking care of her and Simon's little one?
