BLACKPINK made history as the first South Korean K-pop group to headline the 2023 Coachella, and they didn’t fail their fans.

Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose received praise and acclaim for their incredible performance. However, it can’t be denied that there are still questions about their future as a group under YG Entertainment.

Many wonders if all the BLACKPINK members will renew their contracts with YG as they’re set to expire in August this year. Thankfully, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose are determined to stay together despite their success as solo artists, seemingly hinting at contract renewal.

BLACKPINK To Stay Together

In an interview with Bloomberg, the girl group talked about their historic performance as the headliner at the 2023 Coachella.

“It was literally a movie-like moment for us,” they said.

Aside from performing their greatest hits, like “Boombayah” and “Kill This Love,” the girls performed their solo songs.

Jennie started with her solo song “You and Me,” followed by Jisoo’s recently released “Flower.” Rose also sang “On the Ground,” while Lisa showed off her rap skills with her hit “Money.”
