Black Panther's Letitia Wright Criticizes the Media for Removing Comments About Her Christianity

Black Panther is Marvel's highest-rated movie in Rotten Tomatoes, a site people either love or hate, but it's clear that the critics are a big fan of the movie, even with some of the weak CGI in the end. One actress who stood out was Letitia Wright, who really shined as T'Challa's genius sister Shuri, with many of us hoping that she will get a bigger chance to do more in the second movie.

It should also be known that Wright is a Christian, something she has always been open about. This is why it was sad to know that a recent media site, which Wright hasn't named, edited out her comments about Christianity and how she praises God. They probably did this due to how some people react to others discussing their faith but if one does so without attacking anyone, then it shouldn't be a problem.

Seriously, there's a big difference between "God is great" and "the LGBT community should burn in hell."

Regardless of how you feel about religion, Wright's comments probably should have stayed in if they were just about how she's thankful towards God. No matter the religion, people should be able to speak out about their faith, as long as it's loving and positive. Like, we don't need any of that "women serve under men" shtick right now.

Fans can purchase Black Panther right now on Blu-ray. Black Panther 2 will be released on May 6, 2022.
