Avengers: Endgame was released last year which featured a large ensemble of Marvel characters. That said, with tons of things happening and a handful of both people and creatures present, there was one character who wasn't seen much in the movie: Winston Duke's M'Baku.

Duke made his debut as M'Baku in the first Black Panther film, he also had a fairly small part in Infinity War. He was seen briefly in the final battle of Endgame, but as it turns out, most of his footage didn't end up in the final cut.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor talks about his deleted scenes. "I shot with everyone," he said. "The raw footage was just so long with everyone that my stuff didn't make it in."

Duke says he filmed "so much" and admits (with a laugh) that he was "really bummed" he didn't get to see those scenes in the movie. "I did so many fighting scenes in Endgame during that final battle where they're trying to keep the gauntlet away from Thanos," he added. "It was really cool."

Despite being seen briefly in the film, Duke makes it clear that he understands why most of his scenes didn't make it in the movie. "Marvel knows what they're doing, and it all leads to the best product," the actor said. "So, I am happy; I was just very disappointed that nobody got to see all the stuff I was doing.

As for the Black Panther sequel, Duke says he hasn't heard anything about it yet but he trusts the studio that they're "going to invest" in his character M'Baku and to tell a "really bold story."

Black Panther 2 doesn't have a release date yet.
