Black Panther 2 Leak Reveals Riri Williams' Role in the Upcoming Sequel

There's a lot of anticipation right now for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever not just because it's the follow-up to the successful 2018 film, but also because it is expected to address who is going to take the Black Panther mantle due to the passing of Chadwick Boseman, who plated T'Challa.

While the specific details are still under wraps, we do know that it will also feature the debut of Riri Williams before she segues to her own solo series. A lot of fans are wondering about what kind of involvement does she has in the upcoming film and, now, it looks like we finally know how she'll play into the story.

In a recent report from Murphy's Multiverse regarding newcomer actor Harper Anthony's casting in Ironheart, they also revealed Riri Williams' role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in which they reported that "one of her inventions ultimately brings Wakanda into conflict with a hidden civilization led by Namor."

Obviously, this information has not been confirmed by Marvel although they haven't really revealed any plot details on the upcoming film or whether Namor is going to show up, which has been rumored for a long time now. Assuming that this information is true, it does show that Riri Williams will have a significant role in the plot and she is not just going to appear in a cameo or solely as an introduction in the MCU prior to the series.

Even though it has been rumored that Namor will have a major role in the upcoming film, Marvel Studios is still keeping quiet about it even though there's already a lot of evidence about it including a recent Instagram post from actor Tenoch Huerta, who is rumored to play the character. We should be hearing more confirmed details about the film leading up to its scheduled release later this year and find out if Namor does actually show up.
