What is Black Knight Kdrama About?
The official Netflix synopsis of Black Knight reads:
"A delivery man tries to save what's left of humanity from classist overlords. Welcome to 2071. Decades ago, a comet struck Earth and killed 99% of the planet's population."
The show stays true to this synopsis as a post-apocalyptic event that takes place in the year 2071. During this time, oxygen has become one of the most valued resources. So much so that thieves are always looking out for a shipment throughout the vast desert wasteland of the country.
Black Knight feels like a scene out of everyone's reality during the COVID-19 pandemic. Everyone needs to wear an oxygen mask wherever they go so they can survive.
The knights in this case are the deliverymen who stop at nothing to ensure the survivors get oxygen and other supplies.
Where to Watch Black Knight Kdrama?
Black Knight Kdrama was released on Netflix last May 12, 2023. To this day, this is where you can watch all of the episodes of Black Knight.
A total of six episodes are available to watch on the streaming giant. Given its content, the show has been rated TV-MA. This means that it may not be suitable for children below 17 years old.

Who Stars in Black Knight Kdrama?
Like most Kdramas, Black Knight brings together a cast of talented actors and actresses. The list includes the following:
- Kim Woo-bin as 5-8: Yes, that is the name of the character Woo-bin is portraying in Black Knight. 5-8 is a legendary knight who is known as the toughest and most admired at his job. Woo-bin's other shows include The Con Artists, The Heirs, and Alienoid.
- Song Seung-heon as Ryu Seok: Ryu Seok is the heir of the leader of the post-apocalyptic Korea. He owns Cheonmyeong Group but foresees a world without refugees. Seung-heon has starred in My Princess, The Great Show, and Player.
- Kang Yoo-seok as Sa-wol: Sa-wol is a high-spirited refugee who aspires to be a knight like 5-8. Thankfully, he gains 5-8 as a friend, who trains him to be a deliveryman. Yoo-seok also starred in Start-Up, Melting Me Softly, and many more.
- Esom as Seol-ah: Esom's role in the show is a confusing one. Although she is a military officer, she wants to help the refugees. Her previous projects include Kill Boksoon, Taxi Driver, and Scarlet Innocence.
