It’s not brand new information that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have been friends for a really long time. There are even reports that the two Hollywood actors shared a bank account when they were just starting in the industry, just in case things didn't work out for them both. Of course, like any other friends, they have other friends outside their friendship. Damon is also tight with Chris Hemsworth, whom Affleck finds rather endearing given that Hemsworth is kind of popular for being a hunk.
Damon has been seen hanging with Hemsworth on multiple occasions, and Affleck jokingly said it’s unlikely that he will be seen sitting next to the Thor actor. “I think that shows the enormous character of Matt to be friends with a guy that is much younger and better looking than him. Good in practice – but I don’t want to sit next to Chris Hemsworth in photographs so I applaud Matt,” he told the Daily Telegraph via Fandom Wire.

The Gone Girl actor also noted how Damon brags about Hemsworth and his family to him whenever he has the chance. “Matt is quite good friends with Chris and his family – he loves Australia – and I really want to come and see it because the people that I’ve met from Australia I’ve really liked and gotten along with. There’s a wonderful spirit and energy about the people, and certainly, Matt raves about it,” said Affleck.
Like any other friend, Affleck is supportive of Damon’s endeavors, even his desire to move to Australia for good as long as they wouldn’t take any stud-like photos when he visited and ends up seeing not just his friend but Hemsworth as well. “He’s often said if he could live somewhere, he’s tempted to just go live in Australia. My only misgivings about that is that I wouldn’t see him as much. But I’d love to come […] As long as I don’t have to take any shirtless pictures next to him.” said the Batman actor.
