While it made a long-awaited return earlier this month, this was short-lived as it was announced that Ayakashi Triangle will get a rebroadcast in July 2023. This means fans will have to wait longer before they can completely see the first season.
The anime made a return in early March with its fifth and sixth episodes. Since March 13 though, we’ve yet to see new episodes of the series.
Unlike other Winter 23 shows that made full returns, Ayakashi Triangle’s production issues may have been too big.
Ayakashi Triangle Anime’s Delay History
The Winter 23 season started off like any other season, but a few weeks into January, an unprecedented number of anime were delayed.
Most of these delays were caused by COVID-19 infections, likely in animation studios in China.
Among the highest-profile delays were shows like NieR: Automata Ver1.1a and Ayakashi Triangle.
Soon, more shows got delayed, including Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible, which was moved fully to the upcoming Spring 23 season.
Shows from different production companies were affected, though many fans noted how the big Aniplex shows were the ones that got delayed.
This prompted lots of discussions online about potential issues within Aniplex.
Anime delays aren’t new, but the fact that numerous shows were affected was a surprise.
Thankfully for anime fans, some of the delayed shows returned without any issues.
Sadly though, not all delayed anime shows were able to return to broadcast immediately.

Ayakashi Triangle Will Return in Full This July
In late February, it was announced that Ayakashi Triangle's fifth and sixth episodes will be broadcast in early March.
Though at the time, there was no word yet on when the rest of the show’s episodes will be aired.
Recently, the show’s official website announced that instead of returning with Episode 7 in the upcoming spring season, Ayakashi Triangle will instead get a complete rebroadcast in July 2023.
What this means is that Ayakashi Triangle will air weekly starting from Episode 1 in July, essentially making it part of the stacked Summer 2023 season. But at least, all 12 episodes should air without any further delays.
For now, there’s no word yet on when it will be released this July, though its first episode is expected to get a rebroadcast in early July.
