Avengers: Infinity War Expected To Reach $2 Billion This Week

It looks like Avengers: Infinity War just might reach $2 billion this week.

The blockbuster superhero movie might have had some competition these past few weeks with the release of Deadpool 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story, but that doesn't mean that Infinity War shows any signs of slowing down.

After winning at the box office, Avengers: Infinity War is now set to break even more milestones this week as analysts expect the first installment in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie to hit $2 billion soon.

The three-day weekend numbers for Infinity War is already in, and according to Box Office Mojo, Infinity War managed to bring in another $17 million with another $4 million expected to make its way. Together with its international numbers of $32.5 million, Infinity War now stands at $1.9 billion at the global box office.

Another $9 million more and Infinity War could reach $2 billion at the box office, another milestone that Marvel will definitely celebrate.

Though it might take a while for the film to pass Star Wars: The Force Awakens $2.068 billion, with a little time the film could probably worm its way past the Star Wars movie in the list of the highest grossing films in history. Let's just wait and see.
