Avengers: Endgame’s Chris Evans Is Launching A Non-Partisan Political Website

Just like Captain America, Marvel star Chris Evans hasn't been one to shy away from expressing his political beliefs online despite the odds that his post might turn off fans against his opinions. Now, as his final film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe draws closer to its release, Evans has decided to announce that he's starting a new non-partisan political website called A Starting Point.

The actor sent members of Congress a video invitation to his website, and somehow that video ended up being posted on Vimeo. In the video, we get to see the Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame star express his hopes that A Starting Point might be able to provide a "one-stop shop for simple digestible information from people who know best."

It seems like Evans aims for his site to provide guests with non-partisan coverage which includes "both the Democratic and Republican point of view on dozens of issues across the political landscape."

In the video posted on Vimeo, we get see interviews with politicians from both parties with Evans making it clear that his purpose isn't to shape netizen's views but to provide insight into the socio-political climate.

"It's not about my political opinion. This is about yours. This is a chance for you to talk about issues that matter to you," Evans says in his post.

This is definitely an interesting endeavor from Evans. It's very useful in the sense that inactive non-partisans can finally find a site that helps it keep up with the ever-changing political climate, showing site visitors the differences in the opinions between politicians and parties.
