Avengers: Endgame Is Bringing Back An Iron Man 3 Character

We already know that the major players are coming back for Avengers: Endgame. However, it looks like a forgotten character from Iron Man 3 is also coming back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe this year.

There were a lot of awesome things we can remember about Iron Man 3 including the astounding debut of Tony Stark's Mark 42. However, when the new armor broke down, Tony needed the help of a young boy named Harley Keener to fix it.

We haven't heard from Harley since the third Iron Man film but there were reports that Ty Simpkins had signed a multiple picture deal with Marvel Studios. Not surprisingly, the now 17-year-old Simpkins is listed in the full cast list of Endgame on IMDb.

It's still unclear what role Harley will have in Endgame. Although it's possible that Tony's young friend will only have a minor appearance in the film, there are also speculations that Harley could be one of the Avengers' new recruits once most of the team retires. Could Tony call on Harley to once again help him build a new armor when they face Thanos? We'll find out for sure in April.

The IMDb cast list also hinted at what we could look forward to in Endgame. There are minor characters listed as "70's Car Girl #1" and "1970's Scientist / Lab Worker" which suggests that the movie will have a flashback sequence or the team could go back to the 1970s. The latter possibility is certainly in line with the whole time travel theory about the movie.

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
