Some fans may not be ready for it yet, but the Attack on Titan anime will finally end in just a few weeks. In a surprise new promotion, Attack on Titan revealed a heartwarming cast visual ahead of the proper Part 4 finale.

This new visual was shared on the show’s official social media pages and website. If you think it’s a bit too positive for the events of Part 4, you’re right, as this is a promotion for the upcoming after-party.

The anime world was forever changed in 2013 with the release of Attack on Titan. This series arguably pushed anime’s popularity into the mainstream. After all, it has become the gateway anime for many fans.

Thanks to the series’ memorable characters, impressive animation, and unrelentingly brutal story, Attack on Titan became a worldwide hit. Soon though, the anime is going to reach its long-awaited conclusion.

Its end has been a long time coming. After all, the series’ supposed Final Season began airing in late 2020.

Instead of ending in 2021 though, the series’ Final Season turned out to be a misnomer as it was divided into multiple parts. The second part aired from late 2021 to early 2022.

Again, that wasn’t the end of the series as Part 3 was released early this year. Instead of being a multi-episode ending, Part 3 was a one-hour special.

Finally, Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 4 will be released this November, and it promises to be the proper finale for the beloved series.

Along with the reveal of Part 4’s release, the Attack on Titan Worldwide After Party was also announced. This multi-day event will happen online, and it will be open worldwide via a special virtual event.

To promote the after-party, a new visual was released that shows the anime’s cast on a cruise having fun. This is the reverse of what happens in the anime, but it’s at least a nice palate cleanser for the show’s heaviness.

The cruise ship setting in the visual also reflects the ship theme of the virtual event, which will happen from November 5 to 8, 2023.

More details, including how to join are listed on the event’s official website.

Meanwhile, Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 4 will be released in Japan on November 4 at 24:00 (that’s effectively November 5 at midnight).
