Attack on Titan tapped SiM for its “The Rumbling” and “Under the Tree” Final Season themes, but for the proper finale, the series brought back Linked Horizon.

This is a fitting move as Linked Horizon has been synonymous with the series, especially considering the group’s opening songs for the earlier seasons have become iconic.

For the upcoming episode version, the finale will feature the opening song “Saigo no Kyojin” (or “The Last Titan”).

Linked Horizon didn’t just make one song for the finale though. The initial 80-minute special featured another song from the group titled “Nisennen… Moshiku wa… Nimannen Go no Kimi e.”

Instead of playing as a typical anime opening, this theme song was used for the special’s ending credits.
