A new sci-fi and romantic comedy anime titled Astro Note revealed its release date in a new trailer. Here are the latest details about the upcoming Astro Note anime.

Astro Note revolves around a talented chef named Takumi who recently lost his job.

He secures a position at Astro-sou, an old boarding house but is hesitant when he discovers he must reside there permanently.

However, upon encountering the beautiful caretaker, Mira, Takumi’s reservation disappears.

As they collaborate, their bond strengthens. But Takumi soon learns Mira harbors a remarkable secret – she is from a different world.

Astro Note Anime Release Date Announced

Previously, Astro Note’s official website revealed that the original anime is slated to premiere in April 2024.

Finally, the new trailer revealed that the Astro Note anime will be released on April 5, 2024.

Crunchyroll has also confirmed that it will stream Astro Note on its platform upon its release.

Astro Note Anime Voice Cast and Staff Revealed

A promotional video for Astro Note shared in February revealed seven new cast members.

The anime previously announced Maaya Uchida (Katarina Claes in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) as Mira Gotokuji, and Soma Saito (Miyabi Nagumo in Classroom of the Elite) as Takumi Miyasaki. They are also the lead voice actors for the anime.

Here are the additional voice actors for Astro Note:

  • Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata in Gintama) as Tomihiro Wakabayashi
  • Rie Kugimiya (Alphonse Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist) as Ren Wakabayashi
  • Jun Fukuyama (Grell in Black Butler) as Shoin Ginger
  • Junichi Suwabe (Yami Sukehiro in Black Clover) as Naosuke
  • Yui Ogura (Hime Shiraki in Yuri Is My Job!) as Aoi Uemachi
  • Ai Furihata (Ruby Kurosawa in Love Live! Sunshine!!) as Teruko Matsubara
  • Shinichiro Miki (Stardust in SHY) as Shokichi Yamashita

Ai Furihata has also been roped in to perform the opening theme song titled Hohoemi Note.

Telecom Animation Film (Chain Chronicle: The Light of Haecceitas) is animating Astro Note with background art being made at Studio Jack (My Roommate is a Cat).

The first promo video of Astro Note was also shared just last month, and it introduces the characters in the series.

There, we get a peek into the world of Astro Note as the characters are seen at their quirkiest best.

Aside from clips, the trailer also previewed the anime's ending theme titled Kokoro no Kagi (Key to the Heart in English).

Performing the ending are two of the show's main VAs: Maaya Uchida and Soma Saito.
