Anthem: EA Hoping for March 2019 Release

Bioware has had a reputation for excellence, so the fact that there is plenty of anticipation for Anthem should be no surprise. Granted, Mass Effect: Andromeda was a big disappointment but most still see it as a serviceable RPG that has some fun gameplay elements. Even with that, everyone is still looking forward to how this game will play.

While no release date for the game has been revealed yet, EA's most recent financial call has revealed that the company is hoping to release the game by March 2019. That's still a long way away but considering how the game was advertised for a 2019 release, this is much earlier than expected.

Anthem is an online multiplayer game that combines third-person shooting with various role-playing elements, similar to the Mass Effect games. It will also have single-player elements, so those that prefer playing alone have nothing to worry about.

Previews of the game look gorgeous, making many excited to explore this new world from Bioware. It also leads to many jokes about Bioware focusing more on this game rather than Andromeda.

Anthem will be playable on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 when it comes out next year. If EA and Bioware are dedicated to March 2019, that will be great.
