With the Multiverse Saga already in full swing, Majors’ Kang has already been known as the Avengers’ next big threat ahead of the upcoming Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. The Loki series made it clear why Kang far surpasses Thanos as a threat after a war between the Kang Variants threatened the whole Multiverse.

Since it has already been confirmed that Kang is the main antagonist of Avengers 5, there are a lot of questions as to his role in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The recent San Diego Comic-Con pointed to him having a major role as he took the spotlight in a new poster, and Marvel Studios even showed private footage hinting at his existing history with the Earth's mightiest heroes.

During the San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel studios privately released the debut trailer for Ant-Man 3, showing the first look at Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror.

According to a report from Collider, in the final moments of the trailer, Kang has a monologue about his unique perspective on the universe as a time traveler.

"When you can see time the way I do, you can see everything. Everything you're holding onto, everything you call life - I know how it ends."

Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), aka Ant-Man, later declares to Kang that he is an Avenger, to which Kang questions whether he was among his past murders: "You're an Avenger? Have I killed you before?"

Based on Kang’s monologue in the trailer, he has clearly been traveling the entire Multiverse for a long time and has already faced off against several Avengers. With Kang even failing to remember if Scott was among the heroes he killed in the past, it is clear that his kill count is very high and that he has witnessed the death of Avengers a lot of times.

As of now, the official trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hasn’t been officially released.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to be released in theaters on February 17, 2023.
