Ant-Man 4 Already In Talks At Marvel Ahead of Ant-Man Threequel Release

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania may have yet to make its theatrical debut, but the film’s producer, Stephen Broussard, may have already confirmed that an Ant-Man 4 is already in talks at Marvel Studios.

Kang the Conqueror becomes the new big bad in the MCU, and Scott Lang is the first Avengers to have met the next Thanos the Avengers films are bound to face off with. This time, with a scarier motive, and definitely all the more daunting to defeat once Scott Lang and the others find themselves in the Quantum Realm. A fourth installment wouldn’t be far-fetched, seeing as Thor did, too, with Thor: Love and Thunder.

“We’re already thinking about it,” Broussard admitted on ComicBook.com, “It’s like, every movie’s its battle and you bear the scars of making it and wanting to make it great. But hope springs eternal and you start to put yourself back together after making the movie. Like the wheels start turning, you can’t help yourself.”

The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania producer went on to say, “I don’t want to say anything about specifically what those [plots] are, but yeah, you can’t help yourself. Those conversations, those whispers have already started to happen between myself and [Ant-Man series director] Peyton [Reed] and [Marvel Studios president] Kevin [Feige].”

Now that Marvel Studios is tightening up security in preventing massive leaks from their future Marvel Phase Five films onwards, leakers and insiders may find themselves in a difficult spot in trying to decode the eventual plans for Ant-Man 4. Though seeing as Broussard and Reed previously expressed their qualms on the Ant-Man series being brushed off for the Avengers films, they are not bound to disappoint the MCU fans with what’s in store.

For now, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania premieres this coming February 17, 2023.
