What Is Bobby Lee’s Role in And Just Like That?

Bobby Lee is playing the role of Jackie Nee, a friend/colleague of Carrie (played by Sarah Jessica Parker).

If you watched the first season of And Just Like That, you would have realized Bobby Lee was actually in the show already.

Bobby Lee plays a guest role and has been on a few episodes from the first season, namely:

One of the story arcs that surprised avid fans from And Just Like That Season 1 is that Miranda (played by Cynthia Nixon) has left her husband, Steve (played by David Eigenberg) after falling in love with Che Diaz (played by Sara Ramirez).

Showrunner Michael Patrick King revealed that season 2 will feature more of Che and Miranda's relationship.

Another exciting thing that SATC fans can look out for this season is that there will be a much-loved character returning to reprise his role.

That's right, Aidan Shaw (played by John Corbett) will be returning to the series. Deadline reveals that he is "set for a substantial, multi-episode arc on the second season of the Sex and the City follow-up."

This could mean that the two will finally pick up on their love story.

Any Other Cameos To Look Out for This Season?

As for the cameos to look out for in this season of And Just Like That, there are a few worth mentioning.

The first is that Tony Danza has been cast to play as himself. He'll be playing the role of Che's father.

Award-winning singer, Sam Smith, has also been said to appear on this season. But for now, we don't know yet if the singer will be playing himself or will be a new character in the show.

Most importantly, Kim Cattrall is returning as Samantha Jones. Her absence from the first season was greatly missed, which is likely why she is joining this season.

But before you get your hopes up, she'll only be starring in one episode. Variety that she will be in on a phone call scene between her and Carrie.

So no, there won't be a physical reunion with her in it.

There are a total of 11 episodes of And Just Like That Season 2. Each episode will air on Max every Thursday until August 24, 2023.
