It has been revealed that the school in All of Us Are Dead is not real. Hyosan High School is not a real school. In fact, the scenes filmed for the series were filmed at Sunghee Girls' High School, which is situated in Andong, North Gyeongsang Province.

Shortly after the show came out, Sunghee Girls' High School became a tourist attraction. Those who visited the location for the Lunar New Year holiday made their way to the school grounds to take photos.

Although they filmed the school ground shots at Sunghee Girls' High School, it's impressive to point out that they actually constructed a building just for the show. This allowed them to create enough space on set to capture the tiniest detail.

All of Us Are Dead made its premiere in January 2022. This means that it likely filmed the scenes for the show either during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic or shortly after.

True enough, the cast and crew started filming in the middle of 2021. But because governments were still trying to stop the virus from spreading in the region once again, production had to stop.

Once they were able to control the pandemic, the cast and crew were able to resume production.

In one of the posts of Cho Yi-hyun, who plays Choi Nam-ra on the show, she shared that they filmed the series from June 12, 2020, to February 14, 2021. If this is the case, it's possible that they had to work around the strict lockdowns, especially in 2020.

Thankfully, they were able to finish the show even though it took a while to film.
