The official Star Wars website recently published an interview with Bordizzo who opened up about her experience working on the MandoVerse series. Addressing Sabine's bad attitude towards Ahsoka, the actress revealed: "Being disrespectful to her in the scenes is so hard. It was challenging to remember that they have come from a period of a lot of pain and heaviness that has to be worked out and that their Master-apprentice relationship is being tested."

Bordizzo would then iterate that it was all part of her character's arc and that what happened in the end was something beautiful. She added: "I just respect Rosario so much, and there’s times where Sabine can be a little disrespectful. But I think it’s all part of the journey. It’s beautiful to watch that arc happen over the show and where they end up."

She also revealed that she watched "every Star Wars project ever made" to prepare for the role.

The Ahsoka series ended on quite a polarizing note, with Sabine being confirmed to be Force-sensitive. As it stands, we still don't know what this retcon means for her but it's safe to assume that Dave Filoni is priming Sabine up to be Star Wars' next important character.

Ahsoka is available to stream on Disney+.
