Hayden Christensen made his Star Wars return in last year's Obi-Wan Kenobi and this year's Ahsoka where he reprised his iconic role of Anakin Skywalker from the prequel trilogy.

A lot of fans celebrated his comeback since it became his chance to play the character in different ways that he has never done before and, of course, see him again in the role after more than 15 years.

While Anakin died by the end of the original trilogy, they can still bring back the character through Force ghost (as we've seen in Ahsoka) or flashback appearances (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and fans have been wondering whether he will make more appearances in the franchise.

Now, in the aftermath of Ahsoka's airing a few months ago, the actor has addressed his potential return to the franchise.

In an interview with The Dagobah Dispatch podcast (via Screen Rant), Christensen opened up about his potential future Star Wars appearances where he expressed his interest to do more projects in the franchise.

"I would love to get to do more, I would love to get to continue with Star Wars. We'll see. I don't know what the future holds, if such an opportunity presents itself, I'll be there with a big smile on my face," he said.

"If it doesn't, I feel really grateful for getting to come back and do the work that I did, both in Obi-Wan and Ahsoka."

Recently, the actor signed with Independent Artist Group, the talent agency that helped him land the role in the prequel trilogy which suggests that he is gearing up for a full-time Hollywood comeback following his recent Star Wars resurgences.

So far, there are no official plans on any of the confirmed upcoming Star Wars projects to bring back Christensen again. There have been rumors that a second season of Ahsoka is in the works and that could be a good opportunity for the actor to return if it gets a green light.

It is exciting to hear that the actor is willing to make more appearances in the franchise since fans would definitely love to see him more. As long as it makes narrative sense, there should be no problem for him to return in a significant way.

Ahsoka is available to stream on Disney+.
