As the series was off to a great start when it premiered last week, Ahsoka fans are now looking forward to seeing what they have in store for the subsequent episodes and finding out what the titular character and her Rebels pals will do next as they search for Ezra Bridger and Thrawn.

One of the moments that is set to happen later on in the series is the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker and how he will make an appearance considering his relationship with Ahsoka and the fact that he is not alive in the show's present-day timeline.

A couple of reports online have shed some light on Anakin's appearance in the series which is seemingly going to be for a single episode and part of a major sequence that is pivotal in Ahsoka's journey in the series.

Now, a new report has emerged which reveals the details surrounding the exact episode that the character will show up in the series.

A recent report from Bespin Bulletin has claimed that Christensen will make an appearance as Anakin Skywalker in Ahsoka during the fifth episode, which is scheduled to air on September 12.

The same episode also happens to be directed by the showrunner of the series himself, Dave Filoni. His involvement as the director of this specific episode is most likely a sign that it is a pivotal chapter of the series which supports the possibility that Anakin is making an appearance here.

The report also added that the episode's runtime is going to be around 49 minutes which is above average from a typical length of a Star Wars live-action TV episode.

So far, Lucasfilm has not commented nor confirmed the details that the report revealed.

Considering that Filoni is behind the director's chair and the middle episode of a TV season is usually the part where the main character has a major breakthrough in their arc, it does make sense that Anakin's appearance will be in the fifth episode.

While we will never know for now whether this is true or not, fans can now anticipate that particular episode and mark their calendar to potentially see Christensen's return to the role following Obi-Wan Kenobi.
