To promote the upcoming anime, the manga’s initial chapters were made available for free on Coolmic. The best part is, there’s no catch.
The only thing fans will need to know is that the chapters will be free only for a limited time.
Reading these chapters will make for a nice appetizer, especially with the anime finally coming in just two weeks.
Adam’s Sweet Agony Anime to Be Released With English Subs Later This Month
Adam’s Sweet Agony is a bit of an unusual anime as it’s not exactly a part of the Fall 23 season. This makes sense given how niche the manga is.
Despite not being as widely promoted as ecchi titles from bigger publishers, this anime features a premise that should be familiar to genre fans. In fact, it’s reminiscent of titles like World’s End Harem.
This series is set in a world ravaged by a pandemic that has rendered all men impotent. The lone exception is the high school student Kazuki.
To protect his secret, Kazuki transfers to a special high school. It turns out that this high school is composed of 90% girls, meaning his secret is very much in danger of being found out.
The show’s cast includes:
- Harumichi Shido as Kazuki Sonomiya
- Musubi Aono (Miho in Kono Koi ni Kizuite The Animation) as Akari Himeno
- Rina Misaki aka Shizuka Ito (Torture Tortura in 'Tis Time for "Torture," Princess) as Kaede Shiina
- Rika Waoki as Aki Kokonoe
- Shibuya Kaho as Yue Kurumizawa
- Mikado Sumeragi as Kumazawa
As for its studio, this anime is made by studio Hokiboshi, which specializes in ecchi titles. It will be released with English subtitles on December 26.

Adam’s Sweet Agony Manga Launches Initial Chapters for Free
To celebrate the anime’s upcoming English premiere, the Adam’s Sweet Agony manga has also been released for free on Coolmic.
The manga’s first nine chapters are available to read now for free. Readers simply need to make a Coolmic account to read the initial chapters.
Of course, this is not a permanent promotion as the chapters will only be available for free until March 31, 2024.
To read the rest of the chapters, fans will need to buy tickets on Coolmic. The service’s payment scheme is similar to other manga platforms like Manga UP! and K Manga.
