Things just keep getting worse for Zom 100. After gaining a lot of new fans, the hype for the series was deflated by successive delays. Now, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 6 is getting delayed, though only on streaming platforms.
Just this week, Zom 100 announced major release schedule delays for the rest of the season’s episodes. Things have gotten bad enough that its final set of episodes doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet.
While the Summer 23 season has seen delays for multiple titles, it’s fair to say that this new zombie anime is the worst hit.
Zom 100 Anime Continues to Suffer Major Delays
Summer 23 started strong with shows like Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 and Mushoku Tensei Season 2 getting lots of attention. Soon after, Zom 100 joined them as one of the season’s highlights.
Lots of fans hopped on the show’s hype train, but it has since been derailed because of multiple delays.
The first was a one-day streaming delay which only affected selected platforms. This wasn’t a cause for concern at first, but sadly, the delays kept coming.
Next, the show’s fifth and sixth episodes got delayed with no clear reason given. However, the delays were likely done to give the staff more time to animate the show.
Recently, it was announced that Episodes 8 and 9 will be delayed by a week. What’s worse is that the last three episodes of the season don’t have a confirmed release schedule yet.
These delays are already a big blow to the show, but the problems haven’t ended there yet.

Zom 100 Announces New Episode 6 Streaming Release Schedule
Earlier today, the Zom 100 anime website and Twitter account shared another delay, this time for the next episode’s streaming release.
Specifically, the show’s sixth episode will be delayed by one day on selected streaming platforms outside Japan. These include Hulu, Netflix, and Crunchyroll.
Because of this, the next episode is now set to release on August 28 at 2:00 AM PT / 5:00 AM ET instead of August 27.
This isn’t the first time that Zom 100 got delayed like this. Previously, the show’s fourth episode was also delayed by one day on the same streaming platforms.
For now, there’s no word yet on other delays. But given the show’s track record, it won’t be surprising to see more delays in the coming weeks.
