Zom 100, also known as Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, is based on the comedy horror manga of the same name written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata.

Zom 100: Skipping Work Because of Zombies!
Escaping a zombie apocalypse is far superior to enduring the monotonous grind of a 9-to-5 existence.
After toiling away for years at a soul-crushing company, Akira finds himself trapped in a joyless routine.
His humble abode is transformed into a cluttered wasteland; his earnings are disheartening; and he lacks the courage to profess his affection for his enchanting co-worker.
However, as a zombie apocalypse descends upon his city, it serves as the catalyst he desperately craves to break free from the shackles of conformity.
With a newfound vow, Akira sets out on a quest to accomplish all 100 aspirations on his bucket list before fate catches up with him.

BUG FILMS, a studio established in September 2021, is handling the animation duties for Zom 100.
Despite being a relatively new player in the anime industry, BUG FILMS has already gained recognition for its work on various anime titles.
Some of their notable projects include Komi Can't Communicate, Undead Girl Murder Farce, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, Pokémon Horizons: The Series, Summer Time Rendering, The Ancient Magus' Bride, and many others.
