During the recent Justice-Con event, director Zack Snyder revealed that there may be a title change for his version of the Justice League. While it's the name they all "want" for the Snyder Cut, there are legal reasons that "restrict it." As the filmmaker and the crew try to "rip that out," a new rumor reveals what DC and Snyder have to go over.
According to Kc Walsh, Editor-in-Chief of Geeks WorldWide, DC higher-ups aren't exactly keen on the Zack Snyder's Justice League title for his version of the 2017 film. The issues with the title are allegedly "at the DC level" because the director's name comes first, claiming ownership and precedence over the studio.

It is understandable that DC and Warner Bros. are hesitant to put Snyder's name in his version of the film because of ownership concerns. Other DC fans also feel like putting the director's name first gives Snyder ownership over the DC characters, with some even giving their suggestions for other titles to use under the outlet's tweet.
But as Snyder stated, they will try to "rip that out" with DC since it's the title that he and his team wants for the Snyder Cut. Hopefully, they'd be able to smooth things over very soon.
For now, fans can look forward to the upcoming DC FanDome event set to take place on August 22. The director promised that there will be a teaser for the Snyder Cut, and hopefully, some new information too!
