Zachary Levi is Hoping Shazam Joins the Justice League

Shazam is the next big DC movie coming out and fans are pretty excited for it, hoping that it continues to ride the wave of momentum that started with Aquaman. Both movies managed to wash away the stink that came from movies like Batman V Superman and Justice League, the latter of which suffered from a lot of corporate involvement. Funnily enough, Zachary Levi is still hoping that the hero he portrays ends up in a future Justice League movie.

During an interview with Empire Magazine (via CBR), Levi revealed that he is hoping the former Captain Marvel joins the group, especially after Aquaman star Jason Momoa made him feel right at home. While there is still no concrete plan to bring the hero to this group, especially after the box office failure of Justice League, things could always change in the future.

"I hope I get to be part of the Justice League. At San Diego, Jason Momoa quite literally took me under his wing, put his arm around me and was like, ‘Welcome to the family.'"

In the comics, Shazam joined the Justice League during the New 52 sometime after the Throne of Atlantis storyline. He provided some comic (haha) relief and had a nice bond with Cyborg, which was later seen in the Justice League War animated movie. The character hasn't been a part of the superhero team since the end of Darkseid War but he does have a new solo series.

Fans will be able to watch Shazam this April. How many of you want to see him in a future Justice League sequel.
