Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me tells the story of Ryuuto Kashima and Runa Shirakawa.
Ryuuto is an introverted high school student who gets challenged to a dare: he must confess his feelings to Runa Shirakawa, the prettiest girl in class.
In a surprising twist not even Ryuuto anticipated, Runa agrees to go out with him simply because she is single and available.
After school, Runa invites Ryuuto to her room without a second thought. This catches Ryuuto off-guard as he has never experienced being this close to someone of the opposite gender.
Luckily for him, Runa seems more than willing to show him the ropes of being in a romantic relationship.
They are polar opposites in every regard, from their personalities and circle of friends. But as they learn more about their differences, they slowly come to accept each other and form a deeper connection.

It has been confirmed that Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me will run for 12 episodes this Fall 2023 season.
The episode count was revealed on the anime's official website with the announcement of its Blu-ray and DVD release.
There will be three Blu-ray and DVD volumes that will each contain four episodes and exclusive merch.
Here is the schedule of the anime's Blu-ray and DVD release:
- Volume 1 with Episodes 1-4 will be released on Friday, December 22, 2023
- Volume 2 with Episodes 5-8 will be released on Wednesday, January 24, 2024
- Volume 3 with Episodes 9-12 will be released on Wednesday, February 28, 2024
Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me Release Details
Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me is confirmed to stream on Crunchyroll beginning October 6, 2023, for most international regions such as the US, the UK, and Europe.
New episodes are expected to come out every Friday at 10:30 AM ET / 7:30 AM PT.
Muse Asia and Muse India also picked up the anime as part of their Fall 23 lineup. This means the anime will be available to watch on Muse Communication’s channels for Asian regions outside of Japan.
