You Season 3 Story: What will happen to Joe and Love?

Season 2 of You shocked viewers when they learned that Love was the one who killed Joe's first victim, Candace. She stabbed Candance in the throat, and this moment revealed that Love is just as obsessive and included toward murder as Joe is.

Love surprised Joe with the revelation that she is now carrying his child, so the couple move to the suburbs (with Love's mother) and at the end of Season 2, Joe spies his new neighbor through the fence.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Sera Gamble talked about the ending of Season 2.

"I think to me, the most important thing about that last scene is just it is confirmation that Joe is still Joe," Gamble explained, "in a way that's not going to be great for Joe."

The Season 2 finale was designed to set up, "a much more suburban, insular world where Joe would be a complete fish out of water". It would be interesting to see how Joe will handle fatherhood.

Speaking to TV Line, Badgley said that Joe and Love are "not soulmates. He's afraid of her at the end. Basically, it's set up for Season 3 in a way where they would be each other's arch nemesis."

In the You Season 3 trailer, Joe has set his sights on a new target, but it looks like Love will eventually find out, and more tension will build between the couple.

Shalita Grant, who plays the "momfluencer" Sherry told Popsugar that You Season 3 is about "community" and "relationships". She also talked about how her character influences Love, "I love thinking about Sherry's backstory and how she got to where she is and how who she is influences Love and how that influence is immediate. It [starts with] episode one. Love is like, 'How can I be more like the queen of this community?' Because even though Love comes from community, it's different because she was rich and her family is who they are."

Yes! On Oct. 13, ahead of the Season 3 premiere, Netflix announced that it's renewing You for a fourth season.

You can check out the teaser below:

"Reading Caroline's novel, Greg and I were instantly obsessed with Joe Goldberg and his twisted world view. And it's been thrilling to watch Penn bring Joe to creepy yet compelling life. We're deeply grateful that Netflix has shown You such monumental support, and that people around the world have enjoyed watching Joe really get it all very wrong over the past 3 seasons," showrunner Sera Gamble said. "The whole You team is excited to explore new, dark facets of love in season 4."
